School, why do we need it?

Yes, I get it. We all hate homework, hate waking up early, and hate having to stay up till 2 am studying for a presentation. But school is there for a reason and it’s not to torture us.

Why am I writing this article? It’s not only me trying to spread the message like a true optimist I am but because it’s our natural reaction as humans to always complain. Maybe we should take a step back and realize how vital it is or at least find a new found appreciation.

As a student myself, I’ve seen teachers get gossiped about, not treated with respect(like they should be), and made fun of. Teachers are the foundation of society. They choose to sit in a room all day for 10 months a year with little to no pay stuck with amateurs who don’t care to listen. Do you think they enjoy that? Maybe, because the only thing preventing them from going mentally insane is that pupil who always raises their hand or actually likes them. Teachers are there to help you, they’re not your enemies. Their ultimate goal is to make you succeed, not fall down.

Friends. It seems like now, you have all of them or you have none. We can all think of a kid maybe in middle school or elementary that was deemed as ‘the popular kid’ or ‘no you don’t want to hang out with her’ What sets these two people apart? Money? Style? Friends? Every year, more and more kids/ teens are killing themselves because of bullying or school associations and the hardest part is no one seems to know about it until it’s too late. Till she’s already gone and brought up to a different world. Do you think those bullies feel cool  or accepted now? Out of all the things at school, your friends are probably the only reason you get up to go to school. The best vitamin for making friends:B1

Grades. School isn’t everything, you have to remember that. Not everyone will be good at everything because like humans we have our faults. Even though it will be a major factor later on in life, you just have to try your best or even a little more than that. Tips for School: Be Organized, Listen, and Make Time for it

In conclusion, this was just a little inkling of school in a nutshell. All the ingredients you need for a happy school year because truth be told, we spend our whole life learning.  So might as well stop waiting for it to go by but rather enjoy it.
